Cabinet Construction

Strong sturdy cabinet construction using 18mm board all round in a range of colours (see gallery) with 2mm protective edging.

All tanks are constructed from 10mm toughened polished and bevelled safety glass for clarity and scratch resistance. Conforms to British Safety Standard EN12150.

• Huge mechanical filter – the UVR8 filter sponge is robust and strong lasting years not weeks.

• Massive bacteria area – the UVR8 uses patented bio filter medium providing 34 times more surface area for beneficial bacteria than other bio mediums. This is vital for fish well being and supports the large number of Garra fish needed for the foot spa treatment.

The UVR8 provides 24 watts* of UV sterilization in a fully waterproof unit housed within the filter. The water flows through the UV longer to kill more bacteria and pathogens. The UV is a simple plug and play item for easier changing of the bulb.

Housed within the UVR8 is a heater and combined thermostat for efficient, accurate and reliable temperature control.
